
Bakery style vegan cookies
Simple, yet this cookie recipe brings the delight to your taste buds. Enjoy these delightful treats with your evening tea.
Ingredients
- 3 Cups Maida/Atta
- 2 Cups Finely powdered sugar
- 1+ 1/4 Cups Oil
- 1 Big pinch Salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes.
- Line a baking/cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix oil, sugar, flour and salt. Mix together and knead the dough until everything comes together.
- (If the mixture feels too crumbly or dry, add more oil. If the mixture feels too wet, add more flour.)
- Take out a small piece of dough and roll it into a ball.
- Flatten the ball with your palms and poke a few holes using a fork or make any other design you wish.
- Bake at 180° for 15-20 minutes until the sides become golden.
- Cookies will be soft when warm, let them cool down on the baking sheet. If they're soft even after cooling, bake again for another 5-8 minutes.
